sir, what entrance exam do I need to get through in order to get admission in petroleum engineering B-Tech? And Is the form for the entrance given online or when is the last date for filling up the forms online?

through gate, aieee ,iit, nit,bits............. u can do.............. online exam will be there.... all the best...............

There are different exams like

AIEEE
IIT JEE

Some colleges also take admission privately through counseling like

PDPU which is considered to be one of the best colleges for petrolium engineering in India.

And the best is undoubtedly is ISMU Dhanbad. You can get into this college through IIT JEE for which you have to come atleast in extended merit list.

Yup there are facilities to out the form online. Details about the last daye of exam varies with every exam.

There are not many colleges in India offering this course.

Indian School of Mines,Dhanbad which have only 20 seats for petroleum engineering.

If you want entrance in Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University you need to write the seperate entrance test conducted by the University.

You can take admission but problem is that near about 2 years gap is not so good for any course,so justify your decission.and make your mind that this is your last chance to take decission.

Eligibility Criteria

For doing B.Tech in production one should have passed his/her higher secondary exam from any of the recognized boards. The students can only take admission in this program after clearing the engineering exams like AIEEE, WB-JEE, JEE of different states, BITS etc.

you can take job in Govt. as well as private sectors:-

HP
