GATE exams are conducted by IIT.
This exam is conducted once each year Eligibilty to apply for the GATE exams is BE/BTECH PASS Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply for the GATE exams There is no cap on number of attempts. So, you can apply to the GATE exams as many times as you want GATE scores are used by PSU for the appointment process these days |

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply here maximum time.There is no age criteria but your minimum age should be above 18 years.GATE score is valid for TWO years.3rd year student are NOT eligible for This year GATE exam.Final year candidate are also applicable for . |

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude test in engineering.This examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology. Candidates give this entrance exam for pursuing M.tech ,SRF,P.hd from the various IITs. Recently the various public sector undertakings like NTPC,BHEL,SAIL,ONGC has started to recruit on the basis of GATE score. Now coming to your query about no of attempts for the GATE exams: There is no such restriction on no of attempts for the GATE exams.You can attempt as much as you can. The certain requirements for the GATE exam is : >>You must be above 18 years of age. >>Bachelor of technology /engineering from a recognised university.Final year candidates are allowed to apply for the examinations. >>Master degree holder with physics /mathematics can also apply for the exam. GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering conducted by IIT and Indian Institute of Science for admission to M.Tech. Courses in IITs and NITs etc.
The eligible candate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final B.Tech. Engineering Degree or pass in any stream from a recognised University. There is no upper age limit to apply for GATE. There is no restriction to the number of attempts to GATE which means a candidate can appear for GATE as many as times he wishes. |

1. Student must have 4years Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture after the 12th class. 2. The final year students belonging to any of the above course can also apply. 3. Student having Master’s degree in any of the braches like Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent can also apply. 4. The final year students perusing above courses are also eligible. 5. Candidates can apply for as many times they want all the best....... |

The Acronym "GATE" stands for Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering. The Indian Institute Of Science - Bangalore and the Indian Institute Of Technology conducts the GATE Exam on the behalf of the Ministry Of Human Resource Development every year for the admission of B.Tech Passout candidates in .M.Tech in IIT Colleges , NIT Colleges or BITS -Pilani. you must have completed your B.Tech in any stream from any reocgnized college/university with a minimum of 60% marks. You do not have any pending backlogs. There is no bar on the number of attempts for the GATE Exam. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query.
