GATE exams are conducted by IIT.
This exam is conducted once each year

Eligibilty to apply for the GATE exams is BE/BTECH PASS
Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply for the GATE exams

There is no cap on number of attempts.
So, you can apply to the GATE exams as many times as you want

GATE scores are used by PSU for the appointment process these days

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.Every year conduct this exams by IIT .

This exam is conduct for admission for M-Tech ,PHD or SRF .recently some PSU recruit the candidate through GATE Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE Exam :-

You must have degree of -

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

(b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

(c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only)

(d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs).

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply here maximum time.There is no age criteria but your minimum age should be above 18 years.GATE score is valid for TWO years.3rd year student are NOT eligible for This year GATE exam.Final year candidate are also applicable for

Dear Aspirant,

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering and this exam is consist for Higher Study in Technical Field Like M.Tech/M.E/IIT etc......

A candidate who have completed their Graduation degree in B.Tech/B.E From Recognized Universities can apply for it....

Final Year of Graduation also are applicable.....

There is no any Attempt Limit for GATE you can apply it as many time till you don't get Succeed in it.......

No age Criteria.....

GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering conducted by IIT and Indian Institute of Science for admission to M.Tech. Courses in IITs and NITs etc.

The eligible candate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final B.Tech. Engineering Degree or pass in any stream from a recognised University. There is no upper age limit to apply for GATE.

There is no restriction to the number of attempts to GATE which means a candidate can appear for GATE as many as times he wishes.

Eligibility for GATE :
1. Student must have 4years Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture after the 12th class.
2. The final year students belonging to any of the above course can also apply.
3. Student having Master’s degree in any of the braches like Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent can also apply.
4. The final year students perusing above courses are also eligible.
5. Candidates can apply for as many times they want
