hello,
can you let me know the examination code and educational qualification code for fillling up upsc application form 2011 for cps.i would also like to know how to filll column 16 and 17 ....

Hiiiii,

Eligibility criteria for UPSC CPS exam are as follows: -

1. Pass graduation / Bachelor’s degree in any subject or in any engineering stream or equivqlent from a recognised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

NOTE: - Final year appearing candidates can also apply.

Your examination code will be 04 for CPS exam 2011.

If you have passed the degree exam then choose 01 as your educational qualification.

If you have appeared or you are about to appear in your degree exam(i.e. you are in final year ) then choose 02 as your educational qualiifcation.

Column 16 is about your Minority status.

If you belong to any of the specified minorities (Muslim /Christian / Sikh /Buddhist /Zoroastrian), darken the appropriate circle applicable in your case.In case if you dont belong to any of the minority then do not darken any of the circle.

Column 17 is about Physically Challenged category.

If you belong to any of the specified PH category (Orthopaedically Challenged / Visually Impaired / Hearing Impaired), darken the appropriate circle.In case if you are not physically handicapped then do not darken any of the circle.

Last date to submit form is 21st March 2011 so hurry up !!
