as for as i am concerned the software course is lot better than the mca course and also offers better pay
there is not great demand for mca professionals as compared to the software engineers in the market today
because the industry is looking for people who are able to use there brain to do programming and not people who are trained to do copy others programs

As i know MCA is equivalent to B.Tech. The difference is that you can take admission after graduation in science stream. But taking admission into B.Tech you have to appear for the engineering entrance exam such as IITJEE, AIEEE, WBJEE., etc.
So i think both are the same filed in computer science. After completion of MCA a candidate get jobs in multinational companies same as B.Tech.
So the salary will be varies from 2.4 lac to 3.5 lac and above.The salary package depends on the companies from which you get placed.
So try to get placed in good MNCs after completion of B.Tech or MCA.

ans: hello mister maddusajj nobody will copy programs. i think people lyk u do such things. better avoid them coz its a great shame to engineering course. and i hope mca is better than doing engineering and wasting time. coz i ve seen many people who have done engineering dont even earn 10,000 rs salary p/m.

they give six years for study,they become much skilled
and if we see BE students they even could not write a single line of code by there own

i think he is very much right,nobody copies the program coz if there is only need to copy the program tn why a mca student called as much better programmer then a computer enjineer

Software Engineer and MCA is equal bro.. You can also get job as Software Engineer after doing MCA..

salary totaly depend on company and yours performance
if you get job in tcs then you may get 3.17L p.a
if cts then you may get 2.97L p.a

After completing MCA you can get good salary.
You can get minimum 25000/- to 45000/- per month.

In my thinking these two degree is equal.Because today you can see there are lots of job opportunities are available for software engineers.But MCA is also good because MCA course is a master degree after completing Bachelor degree.But don't worry after completing Mca you can get a good job in software field.

It is very common to say is that B.C.A. + M.C.A. = B.Tech.

See some renowned company like :

* T.C.S.
* Wipro
* C.T.S.
* Infosys
* Accenture
* Tech Mahindra
* I.B.M. etc.
offers the M.C.A. or B.Tech students approx 2.80 to 3.50 laks per year. This is very common to all the students of the above two degree. One thing you have to remember is that it is not depend up on the college from where you passed and get this degree.

According to me, Software Engineering is more better option compared to M.C.A. because there are so many great opportunity in Software Engineering than M.C.A.. But you have to choose.

MCA is better Compared to SE. Becoz MCA is a MAster Programme and BTech is a Bachelor Programme..Salary is Based on your Performance and Degree.If u have a Master Degree and a Good Experience you can expect good package compare to Engineers .If u want u can also pursue Phd or Mphil after Master Degree.MCA has a good waitage only if u have done graduation in Bsc-IT ,BSC-CS, BCA or Bsc-Math
