Re: How to appear for NET exam? I am a MBA PG in HR
National Eligibility Test or the NET is the entrance exam for candidates who want Lectureship job or wish to pursue PhD in the future. In order to appear for the NET Exam, you would have to choose Human Resources Management (HRM) as your subject when applying for the exam. The subject code for HRM is 55.
The NET exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission, therefore to appear in the exam, your college from where you complete post graduation should be recognized by the Univesity Grants Commission. The National Eligibility Test takes place twice a year. The first exam has been concluded in June, the second exam would take place in December. If you are interested then apply for the exam before the last date of submitting the application. The application would be made available online on the UGC-NET website. You should also start to prepare for the exam since only 3 months are left for the National Eligibility Test. More you would delay the preparation, more it would become difficult for you. However before you apply for the NET exam, make sure that you are meeting all the requirements. Below are the requirements mentioned for you. Eligibility 1.You should have post graduation degree. It could be in any stream but from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission. 2. Your percentage in PG course should be at least 55 percent. 3. Reserve category students are eligible for 5 percent relaxation as made mandatory by central government. 4. Final year students of master course may also apply. 5. Final year students would require to submit their degree within 2 years of passing the exam. If the candidate fail to submit degree or could not meet the percentage requirement, he/she would be disqualified. 6. In your case the subject for NET exam would be HRM (Code 55). 7. There is no age limit for Lectureship. 8. You can appear for NET Exam as many times as you like. |

Re: How to appear for NET exam? I am a MBA PG in HR
Dear Friend
Its very simple to apply for the exam .Before that you will have to become eligible for the exam. National Eligibility test is conducted by the University Grants Commission twice every year.In the month of june and december respectively. Academic qualifications: >>Post graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is the minimum academic qualification required for it .Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for the exam. Since you have done master's degree in human resource ,you can appear for the exam. Note: You must have secured at least 55% marks in post graduation and if you are from sc/st then you will get an age relaxation of 5% in marks. Age criteria : The minimum age limit is 21 years and the upper age limit is : >>28 years for the Junior Research Fellowship >>No upper age limit for the Lectureship. For any other relevant information regarding NET exam you may also visit the official website of UGC that is www.ugc.ac.in Hope the information helps and satisfies you .If you have any other query you can leave your message here.We will get back to you as soon as possible. aashisranjan784 |

Re: How to appear for NET exam? I am a MBA PG in HR
If you have completed MBA HR with 55% marks then you are eligible to apply for UGC NET.
Those who belong to SC/ST category will get relaxation in marks and they need only 50% marks to apply for UGC NET. Any Post Graduation from a recognized University with 55% are eligible to apply for UGC NET. You have to select your subject in which you are applying for the UGC NET. The questions will be related to your subject area and you need to have Graduation and Post Graduation level knowledge of those subjects. There will be 3 papers and it will have objective type questions. 1st paper will be an aptitude paper and rest 2 papers will be from your subject area. So be prepared for the examination and revise everything that you have studied in your academic years. For more information and apply for it online visit http://www.ugcnetonline.in Download the attachment for UGC NET subjects. |
