How to apply for CAT examination after passing graduation 2nd year?
I want to know can i apply for CAT examination after passing graduation 2nd year on entering in final year nd i want to know the basic nd starting step for cracking this exam with good percentile from which topic may i start the preparation nd a fix syllabus i want to know plz answer me

sorry to say that you are not eligible yet to give CAT exam. you can gve but that will be not eligible for placement. because candidate should be appear in final year or graduation or complete graduation. there are many books in market to do preparation of CAT exam. to cracking CAT exam you have to do preparation from starting and with concentration. good luck |

Yes you can apply for the CAT exam during the final year of graduation. You will need to submit your graduation certificate at the time of joining the institute. For cracking this exam you need to prepare well in all the areas. So you need to start from the basics. You need to list all the topics covered under reasoning, verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge. Prepare timetable based on the time available and follow the same strictly.

CAT exam is organised only once in a year. You will not be eligible for placement through CAT exam while pursuing graduation. Graduation degree is must for placement through it. You can give the exam while pursuing graduation for practice, this must be helpfull for cracking exam next year.

first you should know the syllabus of CAT exam following is the syllabus of the CAT exam CAT Verbal/English Ability Syllabus: Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc. CAT Quant/Maths Ability Syllabus: Nu,ber systems, geometry, trogonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc. CAT Data Interpretation Syllabus: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc. CAT Logical Reasoning Syllabus: Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc if you think you can prepare on your own, then its good enough to prepare on your own you may find following books useful Arihant publication Arun sharma R S Agarwal for time completion of course and concept, you can join any good coaching classes. try to solve as many mock papers as possible All the best |
