sorry to say that you are not eligible yet to give CAT exam. you can gve but that will be not eligible for placement. because candidate should be appear in final year or graduation or complete graduation.
there are many books in market to do preparation of CAT exam.
to cracking CAT exam you have to do preparation from starting and with concentration.

Yes you can apply for the CAT exam during the final year of graduation. You will need to submit your graduation certificate at the time of joining the institute. For cracking this exam you need to prepare well in all the areas. So you need to start from the basics. You need to list all the topics covered under reasoning, verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge. Prepare timetable based on the time available and follow the same strictly.

how many time cat exam is organised in a year,

CAT exam is organised only once in a year. You will not be eligible for placement through CAT exam while pursuing graduation. Graduation degree is must for placement through it. You can give the exam while pursuing graduation for practice, this must be helpfull for cracking exam next year.

CAT stands for the Common Admission Test.It is one of the entrance exam for getting admission in top management colleges of India.

You can complete graduation in any discipline from recognized university . You need to secure 50% of marks at UG level.

SC/ST students needs to be secure 45% of marks in aggregate since there is percentage relaxation for them.

If you have fulfill the above marks criteria then you are applicable for CAT exam .You have completed graduation degree but not mentioned percentage marks of graduation degree.

There is no restriction for attempts in CAT exam so you can apply here various time.There is no age criteria but the minimum age should be 17 years old.

first you should know the syllabus of CAT exam

following is the syllabus of the CAT exam

CAT Verbal/English Ability Syllabus: Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc.

CAT Quant/Maths Ability Syllabus: Nu,ber systems, geometry, trogonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.

CAT Data Interpretation Syllabus: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc.

CAT Logical Reasoning Syllabus: Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc
