Have a look at the following eligibility criteria noted from concerned authority notification.

Food inspector examination is conducted by UPSC as well state Public service commission.

The main function of food inspector is to Examine the food quality and quantity in various industries/hotels/organization and etc ...

Education Qualification Required :-

* You must be a graduate in Medicine.
Or
* Candidate should have graduate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject
or
* A graduate in Agriculture/ Public Health / Pharmacy / Veterinary /Science Food Technology / Dairy Technology.


Other eligibility :-

* Candidates age must lie between 21 years to 35 years as on July 1st 2012
* Upper age Relaxation is provided to candidate belonging to Reservation category.
* You must also have at-least one month training in Food inspection and sampling work approved by the Central Government or State Government.


Question paper constitutes :-

* Daration - 150 minutes

* It comprises of questions on following topics -
o technical related question
o science subjects
o numerical ability
o GK questions
o English language test
o Note - It also consist of negative marking for incorrect answers.
