to apply for IAS examination you have to appear in civil service examination conducted by UPSC. now the form fill up is going on. so you may fill up the form online.
to know details about civil service examination visit the website http://www.upsc.gov.in to fill up the form online visit the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in for form fill up you have to pay fees of rs.50/- through challan from State bank of India or through net banking. the last date of form fill up is 21st March,2011. after clearing the preliminary examination you have to appear in civil service main examination. after that interview. if you are able to clear all stages then you will be send for class room and field training. best wishes. |

UPSC publish the recruitment vacancy in Employment News paper, Rozgar Samachar paper and opens the vacancy in internet website also i.e. www.freshersworld.com You can find UPSC vacancies in UPSC official website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in Minimum Eligibility For UPSC exam is: - 1. Graduation in any stream with minimum 60 % marks from a regonised institute / university. 2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates. 3. IAS 2011 Application Form.. Civil Service Aptitude Test Or Civil Service Exam is conducted by upsc Government every year. Its having Two exam one is prelims and 2nd one is Mains(you are eligible for this Exam if and only if you clear prelims.) For Eligibility you must be A bachelor's Degree from Recognized university. Age limits are 21 to 30 years of age. So you can conclude that a General Guy can Give 8-9 times CSAT exam in his Life time till he doesn't complete his 30 years of age. Online Offline To apply online, you must visit www.upsconline.nic.in To apply offline, you can obtain the application form from post offices and head post offices throughout India. The cost of application form is Rs.20 The initial examination fee is Rs.50 The examination fee for the main exam is Rs.100 Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and girls are exempted from the initial fee of Rs.50. To take the test, you must be a graduate between the age limit of 21 years to 30 years. Candidates belonging to Sc/St category may apply till the age of 35 years and candidates belonging to OBC may apply till the age of 33 years.
