To get in to CBI officer post, graduation is a must. It is essential to take up graduation in any subject of your choice based on your interest. Higher age limit so as to apply for the same is 27 years. Qualify SSC exam to get selected for this post. Physical test is the immediate process of selection for those who clear this written test followed by a personal interview as well.

hi,
CBI exam is conducted by SSC. SSC stands for Staff for Selection Commission. SSC exam is conducted once every year. To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. If you are graduated from any recognized university with any discipline, then you are eligible for CBI exam. But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old. Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be in citizen in India. The selection process is contain in two stage. First stage is written test which consists of General questions(200 marks) and ENGLISH (200marks). The second stage is Interview. CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation. To join the CBI you need to crack CGPE(Combine Graduate Preliminary Exam). This exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. Qualifications of CBI Officer: You have to pass Bachelor degree in any stream from recognized university. Your age should be between 20 to 27 years. 3 years relaxation for OBC. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. Both male and female candidates eligible to become am CBI officer but you should be a citizen of india. First of all I would like to tell you that CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation.In order to become a CBI officer you must possess the following requirement: 1.Minimum of bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university approved by the UGC.Final year Graduation candidates can also apply for the exam. 2.Your age must be between 20 to 27 on the 1st july of the year of examination.Relaxation of three years to obc and five years to sc/st respectively. 3.You must be an Indian citizen. After satisfying this criteria ,you have to give the entrance examination for CBI officer that is conducted by the SSC that stands for the Staff Selection COmmission.
