Re: How to become an IAS officer after passing class 12th with commerce?
First of all, you need to obtain adequate qualification for IAS. Basically any graduate can apply for this test. Candidates must have completed 21 years to apply. After graduation, you can apply for the selection test through the portal of UPSC. UPSC portal contain adequate information on selection test (CSAT and mains).

So, UPSC that is Union Public Service Commission conducts the entrance test for this service called Civil Services examination. You cannot become IAS officer after 10+2 because minimum requirement to appear for this exam is graduation. You can only appear for the exam after completing your bachelor's degree. The age limit is 21-30 years. OBC and SC/ST has relaxation in upper age limit. It does not whether you belong to middle class or elite class family, you must be a hard working candidate focussed towards goal to crack this exam.
