How to become income tax officer i m pursing CA?
please tell me the complete procedure.

*walking-1600meter in 15 min.
*cycling-8km in 30min.

Now please tell me some more ideas about it that as i found that
approx 42% goes cut-off for "income tax officer" post. Is it correct or not ?

Income Tax department conducts recruitment exam for clerical posts but
for officer grade job the seats are filled up by civil services examination.

The notification for civil services examination-2011 will be published on
19th February 2011 in all national dailies and Employment News.

To become an Income Tax Officer

The SSC(Staff Selection Commission) conducts Income tax officer examination.

* Candidates should get graduation from a recognized university.

* Age limit must be within 18 to 27 years.

* Candidates have relaxation for OBC for 3 years and SC/ST for 5 years.

* The exam consists of Preliminary exam, Main exam and interview. The paper has general english.
