Re: How to become an IPS officer after passing B.Com 2nd year?
You are eligible to become IPS Officer after completion of B.Com course because Graduation is the minimum eligibility required to become an IPS Officer.
As you are pursuing 2nd year of B.Com course, I suggest you to prepare for this exam for this year and apply for civil services exam in the next year. You can apply for civil services exam in the final year of your B.Com course but you should be able to provide the proof of passing in Graduation by the time you appear for Interview. Here is the selection procedure to get into IPS one of the top most civil service. Civil Service Aptitude Test Civil Service Main Exam Interview The following is the age criteria to take this exam. 21-30 years of age for the candidates of OC category. 21-33 years of age for the candidates of OBC category. 21-35 years of age for the candidates of SC/ST category. Yes. You can opt for Management as one of the optional subject. And at the same time, Economics is also one of the better choice for you. The reason why I am saying this is you have come across this subject in your academics. Please refer the official website of UPSC to have updated information on this exam.
