How to become an IPS officer while studying BCA 2nd year in VIT University
i m studing BCA 2nd year in VIT UNIVERSITY i like to become a IPS officer but i don't know the DETAILS about IPS EXAMINATIONS and QUALIFICATION which BOOKS for study pls tell me the full details above my questions.....!!!!!!

You can become IPS Officer, after completing graduation. Selection is done through CSAT and mains conducted by UPSC. Age of the applicant must be between 21 and 30 years. Books can be collected based on exam syllabus. You can refer CSAT General Studies for Civil Services or Year Book 2013.

If you want to beomce an IPS officer, you have to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams.
Minimum eligibilty to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams is Graduation PASS Final year Graduation students can aslo apply NO minimum marks is required in Graduation Age- Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years Candidates belonging to OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations ATTEMPTS- General candidates- 4 times OBC- 7 times SC/ST- No such restriction |

IPS(Indian Police Service) exams are conducted by UPSC every year. Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university. You need to complete your BCA......... Number of Attempt:

You can not apply for IPS exam, while in second year of IPS, but you can apply for it in third year. IPS - Indian Police Services Exam for IPS is conducted by UPSC. Details of IPS exam - Qualification Graduation from a recognised university. Age General category - 21 - 30 years OBC category - 21 - 33 years SC/ ST category - 21 - 35 years. Stages of the exam There are three successive stages - 1. preliminary exam 2. main exam 3. Interview So, right now, you can't apply for IPS exam. Meanwhile you can start your preparation for it. |

IPS stands for Indian Police Service and to become an IPS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam, conducted by UPSC once every year after Graduation.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness along with prescribed minimum physical requirements. To become IPS officer first you can crack the Civil Service Exams. IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year. Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized university. There is no restriction for the marks percentage. Final appearing candidates are eligible for this exam. The candidate should have minimum age is above 21 years. The candidate should have maximum age is 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC Candidates. 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates. 10 years upper age relaxation for PWD Candidates. Selection Process: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview No of Attempts: Maximum 4 attempts required for the General Candidates. Maximum 7 attempts required for the OBC Candidates.
