How to become an IPS officer after passing B.A and computer course
i m nirmal singh.i m B.A pass and also one year computer course..i wnt to becme a IPS Officer....bt my age is 32 and also belong to ad-dharmi(s.c )so pls tell me hw i cn becme a IPS Officer

To become IPS officer, you have to write Civil service exam conducted by UPSC. To apply for this examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course from a recognised board and your age should between 21 to 30 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. IPS is one of the All India Allied services provided, once you clear this exam. The post highly competitive among aspirants. Designations like DSP, SP , Commissioner are given to passouts after training for IPS. After selection, you will be trained for two in IPS academy in Hyderabad. The notification of CSE Examination is going to be published soon next year in the month of February and eligible candidates may fill the application form online only. No, offline application form facility is applicable for any candidates in this examination. The examination is conducted in 2 stages, preliminary and Mains, Firstly, you have to cracked the preliminary examination, this is objective and there are two papers in this examination. If you cracked this stage, then you are eligible for Mains. The main examination is Descriptive and you have to choose the optional subjects for Main examination. You have to prepared for this examination as per the pattern and syllabus, only then you will be able to cracked this examination, If you face any problem then you can join some good coaching classes. If you want to become a IPS officer First you can crack the civil examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Eligibility Criteria's for Civil Examination Educational Qualification Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university final year students also eligible for this examination Age Limit Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years and age relaxation as under Nationality Candidates should be a citizen of India |

You are from SC category, that's the plus point for you to become an IPS officer. Because for general candidates the upper age limit is 30years, but for you the upper age limit is 35years. To become an IPS officer you need to appear Civil services examination this exam was conducting by the UPSC once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university. Candidate must be a citizen of india. Final year appearing candidates also eligible for this exam. Percentage is not needed to apply this exam. Age criteria:- For General candidates--> 21years to 30years, For OBC candidates--> 21years to 33years, For SC/ST candidates--> 21 years to 35years. Number of attempts:- For general category candidates- 4 times, For OBC candidates- 7 times, For SC/ST candidates-No limit. Selection process:- ***Preliminary exam, ***Main exam, ***Personal interview. Syllabus:- Best of luck.. |

The age limit for Schedule Caste is 35 years therefore you can definitely apply for the Indian Police Service. The Indian Police Service exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on the annual basis.
You have also completed graduation therefore there will be no issue for you in applying for the IPS Exam. Just wait for the Union Public Service Commission to announce the exam dates. After which forms will be available to apply for the exam which you will have to submit. Before you apply for the IPS Exam, Kindly ensure that you are meeting all the criteria mentioned below. Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. Minimum qualification is graduation degree in any stream. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. 5. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 6. Five years relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST. Physical Requirement Chest: Male - Minimum 84 cm.
