In order to become an officer in the Central Excise, you will have to write Combined Graduate Level Examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
Being a bachelors in mechanical engineering, you too are eligible for the exam provided you are within the age limit of 18-27 years.
The Combined Graduate Level Examination comprise of written examination and interview along with skill test for certain categories.
