Re: How to become a Pilot after completion of engineering
The minimum eligibility for the SPL(student pilot license) is 16 years of age and matriculation . An oral examination has to be taken in subjects related to aviation. One needs to acquire a private pilot license (PPL) before starting to fly. Flying includes overall 60 hours of flying with cross-country and solo flying. And also you have to pass theoretical examinations in subjects like air regulations, air navigations , aviation meteorology and aircraft engines. so after you complete your engineering you can get admission in some pilot training institutes

Re: How to become a Pilot after completion of engineering
There are two ways of becoming pilot. One is to join Indian Air force after passing a pilot aptitude test (PABT)and second way is to become commercial pilot after joining any flying club.
It is always better to become pilot after joining Indian Air Force as the cost of becoming pilot will be bear by the Indian Air Force. While if you go for Commercial Pilot Licenses than cost is really high for many people to effort like of 40,00, 000/-. Three Stages in Bcoming Pilot Student’s Pilot License Private Pilot License Commercial Pilot License You can become Commercial pilot after clearing the stage of Student Pilot License (SPL) and Private Pilot License (PPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Eligibility of SPL 10+ 2 pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum of 50% marks Age- between 18-30 years Height- minimum 5 feet Eyesight- 6/6 Some Basic Requirements is also expected from student as Not afraid of heights , Emotional stability in crisis situation etc. You need to join any approved flying schools and clubs in India. Re: How to become a Pilot after completion of engineering
Dear,
To Become a pilot After completion of Engineering requires some Basic Training and License. The Basic Training and How to get a License detailed as following:- This license is the most important license to become a commercial pilot. i.The age bracket for getting a CPL is between 18 years and 30 years. ii.You need a minimum of 250 hours of flying to get this license. Of this, 150 hours have to be solo flying, 25 hours of cross-country flying, 10 hours of instrument flying (which means you rely only on the plane's instruments for flying without looking at the horizon or external assistance), and 5 hours of flying in the night. iii.A medical certificate from ACFME or IAM and theory tests in Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation, Technical and Planning are other important parts of the process. iv.You can get the Private Helicopter License if you complete 40 hours of flight training with 15 hours of solo flying. Written exams on basic aviation subjects have to be taken. v.To get a Commercial Helicopter Pilot License, you need 60 hours of flight training as well as appear for a written exam. vi.Helicopter pilots are hired by public and private sector corporates as well as security agencies. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function. Regards....ravi6 |

Re: How to become a Pilot after completion of engineering
Dear friend...
Yes, you can become a Indian air force Flying pilot after completing your Graduation B.Tech. But you can't become a commercial pilot, you are not eligible for it if you are in mechanical . There is Another Examination you have to give other than CDSE exam to become a flying officer . Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) is aimed at assessing a candidate’s aptitude to be trained as a pilot. PABT is an independent selection to induct potential officers into Flying Branch of Indian Air Force. PABT consists of three tests 1) Instrument Battery Test (INSB) is a paper pencil test 2) Sensory Motor Apparatus Test (SMA) 3) Control Velocity Test (CVT) Good Luck! |

You can become a commercial pilot but not a pilot in the INDIAN AIR FORCE as the enemies torture victims.
