You have completed 12th standard with above 80 with PCM means you are from pure science department.So you are applicable for Indian Navy exam but you must qualify in NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy .This exam is conducted by upsc twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with science departments are applicable for NDA exam.

Commerce and Arts student are applicable for only Indian Army post.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There are no age relaxation criteria for SC/ST criteria.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.Also you must have citizenship of India.

Profile: For the short service Commissioned Officers job or post in Naval Armament Inspection Cadre of Executive Branch Course of the India Navy

Job Profile: Bachelor interested in joining the Indian Navy can fill in the applications for grant of Short Service Commission in a special branch of the navy i.e. Naval Armament Inspection Cadre of Executive Branch. The course will start from July 2010 onwards at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. The prime most condition for the one to apply for is that he must possess Indian Nationality.

Eligibility: A male candidate must be between the age 19 ½ to 25 years.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate having any of the following qualifications such as BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical from an institution recognized by AICTE or a post graduate from any recognized university are eligible to apply for.

Physical criteria: The candidate must have at least a height of 157cms with a corresponding weight, eyesight should be good and the person should not be colour blind.

Selection process: The candidate who all are short listed are called up for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews which will be held in an around Jan – Jun 2010 at Bangalore, Bhopal or Coimbatore.This interview last for five days and is divided into two stages. The candidate qualifying first stage moves ahead with nest stage and rest are sent back.One who clears both the stage undergoes training as per the Indian Merit and also vacancy.

How to apply: Application froms must be filled in rpolerly and then sent to the address POST BAG NO. 04, Chanakyapuri, NEW DELHI - 110 021 on or before 14 NOV,2009 along with all the qualifications proof , two self-addressed stamped envelopes and it must be sent with utmost care either by Courier/Speed/Registered Post

There is no provision of any percentage criteria for joining Indian Navy through NDA entrance exam.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health, is eligible to apply for Indian Navy of NDA.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

As you are a student of PCM, you can apply for Indian Navy of NDA-II 2012 exam, which the notification will come out shortly followed by Exam during August 2012.

You can apply for Indian Navy through NDA/NA & CDSE conducted by UPSC twice every year.

Basic eligibility required for NDA/NA are:
- You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.
- Age : From 19 Years to 24 years. Engineer graduates 20 to 27 years
- Degree. BA, B.Sc or B.Tech/BE
- No. of attempts is less than or equal to 4.

Naval Academy(NA) is concerned with training for Indian Navy. If you go through NDA exam and you want to join INDIAN NAVY you will have to first complete 3 year training in NDA and then further training in Naval Academy.

Navy Training: All Naval cadets undergo practical training of sailing at Peacock Bay, which is fully equipped to train naval cadets on all the aspects of Boat handling, Wind Surfing, Rowing and other related areas.

Eligibility Criteria for India Navy :-
The candidate age should be between 19 years and 22 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Graduation in engineering from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

NDA: National Defence Academy
you are eligible for navy exam but you must pass the NDA exam before NAVY exam.

Year shore you can join indian navy through NDA exam, NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Services Commission) two times in a year.

Eligibility criteria:
Only unmaried male candidates are eligible.
