I am sorry to say that you can not eligible for the IPS after completing 11th class. You need to complete the Graduation for this exam. IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This is Civil Service Examination. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a Year. Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification: Candidate should complete the Graduation from recognized University. There is no percentage required for this exam. Final year pursuing Candidates are eligible for this exam. Age limit: The candidate min age limit is 21 years. The candidate max age limit is 30 years. Relaxation: 3 years for OBC 5 years for SC\ST 10 years for PWD. No of Attempts: 4 for General Category 7 for OBC Category No limit SC\ST Category. Nationality: Candidate should be origin of India. Why you are getting worried I.P.S --- INDIAN POLICE SERVICES As you are still in " 11th " you need not have to Worry So you are not eligible to IPS with the Qualification of 11th class TO APPLY FOR THE " IPS " YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF "" GRADUATION "" The Graduation must be from a recognized university And you must have a minimum of 21 years Maximum age is allowed up to " 30 " years Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates You must be An INDIAN CITIZEN So you try to COMPLETE THE GRADUATION first then you may apply for the IPS exam ALL THE GOOD LUCK |

You can not join IPS exam after 11th standard. IPS exam stands for Indian police services which is conducted by UPSC. there are minimum education should be graduation passed. Eligibility Criteria:- Education qualification- Graduation in any stream from Govt. recognized University(NO restriction of %) Final year student who appeared in last year exam can also apply for UPSC prelims exam. IPS - Indian Police Service and to become an IPS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year after Graduation Degree.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness. The selection is through two stages of written exams, Preliminary exam also called as CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test) exam and Civil Service Main Exam followed by Personal Interview. Age criteria:- For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years. No limit (SC/ST). Minimum Physical standard: Height Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Ladies should not be pregnant at the time of Medical Test. Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels. Nasal- candidate should not stammer while speaking. Exam Pattern : It Comprises of two successive stages: Preliminary Examination: It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination. Main Examination: It consists of written examination and interview. Exam Held The Preliminary Examination is held in May/June and the Main Examination in October/November. Becoming an IPS officer is not a easy job. You have to crack UPSC-Civil Services Examination to fulfill your dream. Based on the ranking in the exam you will be allotted a job. For IPS you to exceptionally do well since it comes top position in our country. You can do graduation in any stream to become an IPS officer. All the best.. |

To become IPS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 11th complete 12th,then complete Graduation from a recognized university.
Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exams is Graduation from a recognized university. IPS exams are conducted by UPSC every year. DETAILS OF UPSC IPS EXAM: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualifications for IPS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Number of Attempts Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. You have to be a graduate to appear for the UPSC exams. UPSC comprises of three sections Preliminary Examination which covers objective type questions, Mains which is subjective type questions and personal interview questions. For eligibility part, aspirant’s age limit should be between 19 to 40 years. Relaxation is also given for SC/ST candidates of 2 years as per the government norms. Also candidate should be Indian and must possess a graduation degree in Mathematics, statistics, Geology, natural science, civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, economics, Chemical Engineering.
