Sir, I want to join NDA to join Amry which Stream should i choose ?

There are medical and physical standards to be met for joining the Indian Army. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary examination and atleast, have 40% in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English. During the time of admission, he should be 17 1/2 years and must not be over 23 years of age. After or during the +2 tenure, interested candidates need to write NDA Exam for the Army wing of National Defense Academy. Candidates willing to join Indian Army through NDA Exam do not need to have studied Mathematics in the higher secondary level. There will be a compulsory paper of Mathematics in the NDA Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Sir arts stream students are allowed for indian army examination what percentage is required for indian army as an officer

You can join army you can eligible for NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

Indian army

Indian Navy

Indian Airforce

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate should be citizen of India.

Candidate should complete the 12th standard from recognised state board of India.

Percentage not required for this exam.

Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible.

To Indian navy and Airforce you can have science. Army you can arts and science both are eligible.

Candidate age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

No age relaxation applicable.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Female candidates are not eligible.

Education Qualification for NDA:
1) For Indian Army Wing: The interested candidate must qualified 12th class from a recognized board/University or Candidate Pursuing in 12th or equivalent examination can apply.
2) For Air force and Indian Navy: The applicant must have qualified or pursuing in 12th with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board or University.

For NDA Eligibility Criteria (NATIONALITY):
> The applicant should be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan Migrate who came the India before the 1 January 1962 with the purpose of eternally settle in India.

> Having age group of 16.5 years to 19.5 years candidates can apply.

> Only unmarried candidate are eligible for appear in exam.
