Dear Friend yes you can give the IAS exam but you should follow the following criteria
*Age Limit : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs) *Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification * Number of permissible attempts : Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs) *Fee : Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) (No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only) So Good Luck my friend For further information regarding forms please visit the website http://upsc.gov.in |

you may get the forms from the variuos designated post offices but friend the minimum educational eligibility for IAS exam is bachelor's degree i.e. graduation in any field so first complete graduation then you become eligible for the exam |

Indian Administrative Services(IAS)
Firstly,I want to tell you that 12th pass student are not eligible for IAS. For appearing in this exam you will have to complete graduation in any stream form recognised university, Then you will elegibile for IAS exam. Age limit: For general - 30 For OBC - 33 For SC/ST - 35 For Ex-service men it is 5 years from the prescribed age limits. Attempts: The attempts for several categories are: For Open -4 For OBC -7 For SC/ST - No limit. To get form:- The Application Procedure for the Civil Services Examination is very simple. The Application Form and Information Brochure can be obtained from the "Head Post Offices or Post Offices" throughout the country. The filled Application Form should be sent to: Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi - 110011. |

Dear friend, Application forms are available in designated Post offices.You are not eligible for this exam with 10+2 qualification. Only graduates from recognized university are eligible for this exam,Any candidates have the age between 21-30 years eligible for this exam. For OBC candidates have 3 years age relaxation that means those candidates eligible for up to 33 years. For SC/ST/DA candidates eligible for up to 35 years. All the best for you.. only with 12th completion, you can't appear for the examination of IAS..for this exam firstly you need to complete your graduation with any stream from the recognized university... aftre completin your graduation, you will be eligible for appearing into the UPSC Civil
Services exam to become an IAS officer.. the exams form are available online. its a two-stage exam. first is the preliminary stage.. if u qualify this then only you will be eligible for 2nd stage examination- the mains.. check out the website- http://upsc.gov.in for more further info.. |

Hi friend there is no need to get IAS application form for yourself because you are not eligible for this exam just after 12th.
For your information UPSC conducts IAS entrance exam.minimum require qualification for this exam is that you have to pass Graduation.Graduation is minimum required qualification After Graduation you are eligible for IAS entrance exam. IAS entrance exam consists two exam- First Preliminary examination Main Examination. After passing Preliminary exam you are eligible for Main exam.without passing Preliminary exam you can't join main exam. You can get IAS forms from the main post office nearest to you after paying an amount of Rs. 30 only.
No you can not appear for the IAS exam just finishing your intermediate, you must be a graduate from a recognised university and should have age between 22 to 28 years. |

Each year UPSC conducts civil services exam generally in month of May. From 2011 Aptitude test has began, prelims held on 12 june , had two papers- first of general studies and second paper to test aptitude of candidate. both papers constituted 200 marks each with 100 and 80 questions respectively for paper 1 and 2,two hours each.
The minimum eligibility criteria is graduation in any subject from any recognized university. Form is issued in month of January- February . one can see the details and back years questions by log in to upsconline.nic.in |
