i am interested in aeronautical engineering so how to join in aeronautical and which entrance exams i will write for it plz tell me answer in detail sir.

how to join in aeronautical engineering after completion of diploma in electronics and instrumentation.

Sir,I am a student of b-tech in electronics and communisation OF 2ND YEAR.After the completion of this degree i want to go for aeronautical engineering.i want to know about the government institutes in india giving this degree and the entrance exam held by the institutes.

Yes, it is possible to do engineering after diploma in any field of engineering. You can do this through Lateral Entry Scheme or Diploma to Degree Program for Engineers which is supported by almost every university in India.


For entering into Engineering you have to crack LEET ( Lateral Entry Entrance Test ) which is a state level exam. Universities and Colleges also conducts their own entrance exam for diploma holders. You can appear for any university's exam in India. Just go through their site and check the information about Application forms.


Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Scheme :-


- Candidate should be diploma passed with minimum of 50% marks
- Final year diploma candidates can also appear for the same.


Allotment of seats will be based on Marks obtained in Entrance Exam and Diploma course as well. So,try to get higher marks in both exams so that you can have engineering college and branch of your choice.


Note :- IITs, BITs, and NITs don't have Lateral Entry Scheme, so you won't get chance to do engineering from these colleges, still you can get reputed govt. college in various universities.
