I,m doing 2nd year be(ece 4th sem).I want to get job in bsnl.when and how should i start preparing for it?what are the steps to be taken?

if you are interested in joining the BSNL then you can write JTO exam...it deals with basic knowledge in your subjects during the BE and good command in your basics can get you through..start preparing during your sixth semester...

you are eligible to appear for that exam (BSNL JTO) from your final year only that too
if you can show your final year degree by the end of the time decided by the
management......
but you can start preparing for that exam from now because the syllabus for that
is all the engineering subjects and the whole paper will be of MCQ [multiple choice question] type ......
the exam normally held at the month of April or May.....
so prepare yourself for that exam....

after B.E in ECE you will be eligiable to give BSNL JTO exam.

minimum 60% marks in BTech is required to appear in the JTO exam.

age limit 21-29.

The best way to join BSNL, you can get an entry as Junior Telecom Officer by giving the BSNL-JTO exam.

You can start the preparation for the exam from 3rd year of your B.tech course. As it is an all India level competitive exam you have to prepare very well. There are good books like GK publishers BSNL-JTO preparation and other online study materials.

after completion of you B-TECH degree you can apply for BSNL JTO exam. details are given below.

Yes, BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is one of the Private Company,(semi private) which is one of the multi national company, you can apply for post at this company when you have passed your engineering. Candidates from ECE are also allowed. You have to apply for JTO officer.

Here are the eligibilty for this:-
