i am 3rd year BE mechanical Engineering student & i interested to join indian airforce ,how can i apply for air force?

Hello friend,
The best way to join Indian Air-Force, after graduation, is through combined defense service exam conducted by UPSC.

To write the exam, you must be a graduate within the age limit of 19-23 years.
Apart from being a graduate, you must have studied Physics and Maths in your +2 level of education.

Since you are pursuing Mechanical Engineering, you may also join Indian Air Force as Aeronautical Engineer. To be eligible, you must have scored a minimum of 60% in the four year degree program.
The eligible age to apply for the same is between 18-28 years.

Dear ....for joining Indian air force you must give a test ..which are
1.CDS(combined defense services):this test is conducted by UPSE center twice in a year.
2.SSC
3.OTA
from those test you give any test and clear this exam .you defiantly selected in air force for next step.

For joining the Indian air force being in the engineering section, you need to be a graduate from engineering or technical background with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Then you have to appear for the AFCAT exam, air force common admission test. The age requirements for giving the exam is that your age should not be less than 19 years of age and not more than 21 years.

If you are an Engineering 3rd years student then you have to wait till completion of your Degree to apply for Indian Air Force.

After your Engineering Graduation you can apply for CDS Examination conducted by UPSC.

CDSE is a Combined Defence Services Examination for recruitment of officers in all the three wings of Defence.

You are an Engineering Graduate hence you can surely apply for Indian Air Force through CDS Exam.

The age limit for different academies are mentioned below:

Indian Air Force Academy- 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy- 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years

Officers Training Academy- 19 to 25 years

Your age should be between 19 to 23 if you want to join Air Force through CDS Examination.

The examination will have an Objective Type Paper, SSB Interview and Medical Examination.

You have to score very good marks so that you are in merit list then only you can join Indian Air Force.

You can also apply for AFCAT after your Graduation for joining Indian Air Force in Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch.
