A candidate should have completed their graduation with atleast 50% from Recognized Universities


Citizenship of INDIA.

Age limite:

For Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
For Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
For Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
For Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

After completing diploma Electrical & Electronics Engineering, you can join Indian Army by cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Army of NDA, must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass or diploma in engineering in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and medical test.

You can join Indian army through CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam.

UPSC conducts CDS exam every year for recruitment in different wings of Indian Army.

The eligibility criteria for CDS exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The qualification required for

Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy-Graduation in any discipline.

Indian Naval Academy-Bachelor of Engineering.

Indian Air Force Academy-10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.

-For CDS exam,the age limit for

Indian Military Academy- 19 years to 24 years

Indian Naval Academy-19 years to 22 years

Indian Air Force Academy-19 years to 23 years

Officer's Training Academy-19 years to 25 years

-The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards for admission to CDS exam.

-The exam process involves

*Written Exam

*Interview by Services Selection Board.
