how it helps me to join indian army?

Indian army jobs are available after completion of btech.
*job: technical graduation course(Indian army)
*qualification: BE/Btech,MA,MSC.

Indian army 118th technical graduate course(tgc-118) Jan2014.
**candidates married /unmarried graduates from recognized university.

A graduation completed candidate can be eligible for Indian Army through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam and this exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.


Four types of wings in CDS:-

-->Indian army or military academy,

-->Indian Naval academy,

-->Indian Airforce academy,

-->Officer Training Academy.


Eligibility details:-

For Indian Naval academy:


The applicant should have to complet bachelor of engineering from a recognised university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

The age limits are 19 years to 22 years,

No upper age relaxation.


For Indian Airforce academy:

The applicant should have to complete engineering graduation from any recognised university.

The age limits of the candidate should be in between 19 years to 23 years.

No upper age relaxation.


For Indian Army or Military academy:-

The applicant must be complete graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

Your age must be in between 19 years to 24 years.


For Officer Training Academy(OTA):-

The applicant should be complete bachelor's of degree in any stream from a recognized university.

Applicant's age must be in between 19 years to 25 years.


And the candidate who are applyig this exam must be a citizen of India.

Indian Army can be joined through CDS after B.Tech. or Graduation Degree.

CDS - Combined Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Army(IMA) of CDS, must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate having either appear for the final Graduation Degree/B.Tech. Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

You can also join Indian Army through UES(University Entry Scheme) and TES(Technical Entry Scheme) after B.Tech. Electrical Engineering.

as you are graduate you are definitely eligible for army, you can join army through CDS combined defence services , cds exam is conducted through upsc

through cds there is entry for following wings of army :

naval

air force

indian army

officer training academy

eligibility for naval and air force :

candidate must have completed graduation from either b.tech or b.sc with maths and physics as compulsory paper
age limit for naval is 19-22 years
age limit for air force is 19-23 years
no upper age relaxation

eligibility for indian army and officer training academy :

graduation from a recognized university in any stream
age limit for Indian army is 19-24 years
age limit for ota is 19-25 years
must be a citizen of India

so as you are a graduate you have the above option for entry in army

For a B.Tech. student there are many ways through which one can join Indian Army. You can apply for CDS examination and various Short Service Commissions in Indian Army.

CDS Exam is a Combined Defense Services Examination which is conducted by UPSC every year for recruiting officers in various Defense Academies of India.

The examination is conducted twice in a year and you can apply for both if you have age on your side.

Age Limit:

Indian Military Academy : 19 - 24 years

Officers' Training Academy : 19 - 25 years

Indian Air Force Academy : 19 - 23 years

Indian Naval Academy : 19 - 22 years

After graduation, one can join Indian Defence through CDS exam.

CDS - Combined Defence Services

CDS exams are conducted by UPSC ( union Public Service Commission)

There are four wings, which you can join through CDS exam --

IMA - Indian Military Academy
INA - Indian Naval Academy
AFA - Air Force Academy
OTA - Officer’s Training Academy

Eligibility to join Indian Army through CDS exam ~~

You should be an Indian National.

You should have done graduation from a recognised university.

Graduation can be done in any discipline.

You age should be between 19 years to 24 years.

There is no age relaxation for any category.

You should be a male candidate.

You should be unmarried.

The CDS exam is conducted in these stages -

Written exam.

Interview.
