hello sir my ques is that have any accounting jobs in navy.? b'coz i want to join indian navy. sir i am kavita hemrajani from ratlam and my qualification is b.com and i have done dca (diploma in computer application ) and computerized accounting course from ica (the institute of computer accountant ) and i am pursuing m.com(taxation).

You can join Logistics cadre in Navy after B.Com. You can enter Navy through short Service Commission. You need to score 55% marks in graduation level for this. Minimum age limit required for this is 19.5 years. Maximum age limit to join Navy in logistics cadre is 25 years.

You can apply for Short Service commission entry.

Eligibility Criteria

2. Degree from a recognized university not less than 55%

How to join after the italification of BBM?

B.Com. Graduates can join only the non technical department of Indian Navy.

The technical department of Indian Navy is only for those who have done there studies in Physics and mathematics.

You can apply for Logistics Cadre of Executive Branch in Indian Navy.

Eligibility Criteria for Logistics Cadre in Indian Navy:

Age limit: 19.5 to 25 years.

Qualifications : A First Class Degree with 60% marks in discipline like B.Com, BBA, MCA , MBA, BA( Economics) , M.Com. etc.

Physical Requirements:Minimum 157 height with proportionate weight . Eye sight should be 6/60 in both eyes and after correction should be 6/6 and 6/12 in both eyes. colour blindness is not accepted.

The selection will be based in the written examination and physical fitness test.

First of all, I would like to inform you that according to your hons subject, you cannot join Indian Navy.


Because, To join Indian Navy, you must have completed graduation with Science stream.


According to your stream, you can join only Indian Military/Army Academy.


After completion of graduation, you can appear in the CDS(Combined Defence Services) examination to join defence sector.


UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts CDS examination twice every year in the months of February and September respectively for the four wings(Indian Naval Academy/Indian Military/Army Academy/Indian Air Force Academy/Officer's Training Academy).


The eligibility criteria required for the CDS examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in science stream for Indian Naval Academy or Indian Air Force Academy wings from any recognized college or university.

* Completion of graduation in Arts or Commerce stream for Indian Army/Military Academy wing from any recognized college or university.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Final year contenders are also eligible.

* Age limit:- 19-22 yrs(INA), 19-23 yrs(IAFA), 19-24 yrs(IMA), 19-25 yrs(OTA).

* Age relaxation:- Not required.

* Marital status:- Unmarried.

* Sex:- Both male and female.

* Nationality:- Indian.

* Physically and mentally fit.
