want to join merchant navy.Hence i want to know that which study should i do to get there...and also say that which post is suitable for me.......please answer....

which courses are presently available majorly after completion of my 12th commerce?

Eligibility for Merchanct navy :
1. Merchant Navy can be joined after 10th as seafarer after qualifying pre sea courses
2. After 12th MPC (only) you can join as an officer
3. You may also join through various degree or diploma courses in mainly two specialized fields
i. Nautical (Deck)
ii. Marine engineering.
4. Unmarried Female and Male candidate are eligible .
5. The age limit is 16 - 25 years
6. You must have a fit and healthy body

what is the procedure to join merchant navy as seafarer after 10th class

To join Merchant Navy you must have passed 12th with physics,chemistry & maths.

You can apply for Defence Academy & Railways jobs.

If you wish to for higher studies like B.Com,BBA,BCA,HM that is also good option .

Eligibility Criteria to join Merchant Navy:-

To join Merchant Navy you must have a bachelor's degree in nautical science or marine engineering.

Age Criteria:- 20 years

Marital status:- Unmarried

Medical status:- Eye vision should be 6/6

Height:- At least 150 cm.
