Well sorry to say you are not eligible for merchant navy.

Eligibility for Merchant navy:

• You have to pass your 10+2 or an equivalent with physics,chemistry and mathematics.
  or
• You have to pass the Nautical science and marine engineering

As a commerce student you are not eligible for Merchant navy.

1st u have to complite your 10th,+2,& give the entrance exam of nevy....

Merchant Navy after 12th in Commerce:-
Sorry, you can't join in Merchant navy after completing 12th class in Commerce . Because you have to complete 12th class exam with science for being eligible for Merchant navy.

Eligibility FOR Merchant Navy :--
• Unmarried male and female Students are eligible for Merchant Navy course.
• You should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for Merchant Navy course.
•Your Age should not be more than 20 years.
• SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age .

Sorry, to inform you that you are not applicable for becoming a Merchant navy being done your secondary education with commerce as you are required to have Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects in 12th for eligibility of Merchant Navy.

Also you can apply for same after graduation then also you must have done your bachelor degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized university .

Friend if you are interested in defense services then you can go for Indian army now .
