Hi

IP University conducts an Entrance Exam which is conducted by the University itself. So there are many students but mostly from Delhi who are to apply for the University.
But the outsiders may also apply for the same.

Now the BASIC Eligibility Criteria to apply for the IP University Exam is that the candidate should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized board like CBSE or schools recognized to take up Engineering under the IP University.
Also there are some particular other criteria's like you must have scored over 60% aggregate in your 10+2. etc..

Now more than 10000 students apply for this Entrance every year and it is rising year by year. So the competition is also increasing proportionally.
If you are asking about how much rank is needed to get through the IP University, I would ask you to score as high and rank as high as you can..

However the top 1500-2000 students are placed in the various Government as well as the private colleges in all over the city.
So you have to rank within this much rank and score this much.
