hello, sir i am a third year student of b.tech IT .....am i able to atten the exam of isro with out appearing for GATE exams.......pls help me

GATE exam stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

GATE exam is conducted to join M.tech courses.

You can apply this exam online in official website.

Education Qualification;-

>>You must be passed B.tech degree from a recognized university.

There is no age limit for GATE exam.

Appearing in final year candidates is also Eligible.

You can apply this exam online on its official website.

Such as IIT Central Institute

Hello,

the present system of GATE exam has been changed, and no third year students are eligible to write for this, only the final year students are eligible to write. And for ISRO, only the passed, graduated students are eligible and sometimes , valid GATE scores are necessary.

>>Eligibilty of GATE :-

1. You must be in final year of engineering, from a recognized university like AICTE, or UGC, any other professional bodies.
   
2. No back logs during that year.

>>For ISRO, separate exams are done , it is updated on their official websites from time to time, recently ISRO has called for SC scientists post where IT are eligible to apply.
So from time to time, you have to look at the website in order to apply for it.

You can appear in the GATE exams once you are in 4th Year of BTECH

ISRO conducts its own written tests now


GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the Exam conducted by IIT each year

Next GATE exams would be held in January 2014

Eligibilty to apply for the GATE exams is:
>> BE/BTECH/BARCH pass or Final year student

>> M.SC/MCA/MA with subjects/branch Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent

>> Integrated Master’s degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering / Technology (Five year programme).This programme should have been done just after passing class 12th

How can i write gate exam being a third year cse student? I wanted to write the exam so that i could estimate my performance.
