You are eligible to apply after completing 12th with Commerce Stream .

To join Indian Army examination then you must have attend the National Defence Academy Examination .

This examination is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission . This examination is only for Intermediate candidates .

Minimum qualification for this examination is 12th with any discipline from a recognized School . If you have a Science background then you are eligible to apply for all the wings NDA .

NDA Exam is conducted for admission to :-

~~Army wings
~~Navy wings
~~Air force wings

Army wings :-

Those who have passed intermediate (12th) with any discipline and finished from a recognized Institution and there is no percentage criteria .

You must have attained the age of 16.5 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years and there is no upper age limits for Army wings examination .

Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination .

NDA (I) examination was already finished and NDA II notification was already released on 05 / 05 / 12 .

Joining in Indian Army after completing +2,is a good opinion of yours and the way by which you can get into army is by writing the NDA exam.


NDA stands for National Defence Academy

Even though you are from commerce stream, it's not a matter of joining Indian army.
You must have attend the National Defence Academy Examination to get into services. This examination is only for Intermediate candidates .

After passing 12th with commerce steam you can join Indian Army.

For this you have to qualify the National Defence Academy Exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY EXAM

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.

1) 10+2 (Through NDA)

You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy).

Eligibility for UPSC exam :-

a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading
newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry)

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly.

So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining.

The course starts every year in the month of January and July.

Pre-Commission training After getting final selected the candidates are called for Training.
