i am 12th pass in commerce with 69% marks. how i join indian army.

you can jion indian army after 12th .
for this you should take part in indian army's ralies.

as a commerce student for applying in NDA you should have mathematics as a subject in your 10+2 exam. you can also for CDS after compliting your graduation with maths with any stream.

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)


According to the Eligibility Criteria:

i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE).

iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE)

Age Limit:

i)For IMA:19-24 Years

ii)For OTA:19-23 Years

iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years

iv)For AFA :19-25 Years


They select the students through the

i) Written Test

ii)Intelligence & Personality test

iii)Medical test.

as you can not apply for the naval & air force wing of the Indian force, because to do so, you must have physics & maths in 12th.

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years.,

you can join indian army ...but their is a eligibility criteria beyond which you cant join indian army...you can purchase the application form from any post office drafting a sum of rs 50/ - The exam is conducted twice a year by upsc,, you can fill the application form...but one thing is mandatory that you should have maths in your 12 class because NDA paper consists of maths section which carries a lot of weightage.....or do 1 thing fill the online application form of NDA which is coming on 31 december 2011........do payment with visa/demand draft/challan.and send it............

U can definately join Army becoz u have passed 12th and with an Average percentage

but u should have a good Physical Body for joining army

To join the Indian Army there will be an entrance called NDA. NDA means National Defence Academy. It is conducted every year by Union Public Service Commission. The educational qualification is 10+2. The age limit is 18-21 years. One who completed 12th standard of any group is eligible for NDA exam. Through the exam we can join in any group like army/navy/airforce.
