i have done B-tech computer science and engg.(2009 pass out)
enrolled in m-Tech computer science and engg. at present and will get my degree finished in next month.
please guide me that how i can join indian navy.

Yes,you are eligible for Joining in Indian Army through CDS Examination with your B.Tech Degree
CDS - Combined Defence Service this examination is conducted by Union Publice Service Commission
Eligibility Criteria For CDS : -
you should have a graduate degree from any recognised university
Age Eligibility : -
you shoule between 19 to 24 years no relaxation for this examination...
Nationality : -
You should be a citizen of India.

I am pleased to inform you that a all india test is conducted under UPSC called CDS,twice a year,through which you can join INDIAN ARMY as an officer.
You must have 55% in Graduation and should not be more than 24 years in age.

How To Join Indian Navy

In order to join Indian Navy..a candidate must clear the Combined Defence Services(CDS) which is conducted every year in the February and September..

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications for appearing for the CDS Exam :-

>> Candidate must have cleared graduation from a recognized institute..

>> Candidate must also be within the age limit of 19-22 years for joining the Indian Navy and 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy..

You will be tested on the basis of the following areas :-

>> General Knowledge
>> English
>> Basic Maths

Each section will be carrying 100 marks..

First of all, I would like to tell you that if, you should join Indian Army, you will have to appear for CDS examination, which is conducted twice every year in the months of February and September by UPSC.

The eligibility criteria required for CDS examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- 19-23 yrs.

* Nationality- Indian.

If you want to join Indian NAVY just after passing Your Btech than you have to apply for the UPSC conducted CDS exams.
This exam is held two times in a year

If you just want to applt to BTECH than below is the Eligibilty:

Education-BE/BTECH pass
Age- Minimum 19 years
Maximum -23 years

Only Male candidates can apply

So, if you meet the above eligibilty, than you can apply for the next CDS exams
Next CDS exams would be held on 8th Sep 2013

Indian Army can be joined through CDS after Graduation in any stream of Education.

CDS(Combined Defence Service), entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate wishing to join Indian Army(IMA), must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Physique.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Yeah shore you are eligible for Indian Army. A graduation completed candidate might be eligible for Indian army through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam. There is no stream is important in the graduation so the candidate should be done the graduation in any stream.

CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commissionn) twice in a year i.e CDS-I and CDS-II.

hello friend as you have completed b.tech and going to complete m.tech then you can apply for CDS exam for joinign Indian navy

CDS stands for common defence services and conducted by UPSC board

Eligibility :
1. Candidate must be an Indian
2. Candidates must complete graduation in b.tech or b.sc sciences with minimum 55% marks
3. Only unmarried candidates are eligible
4. For Navy the minimum age is 19 and maximum is 22 years

Sure you can join the Indian defenmce field after the graduation. You can join the Indian defence field through the CDSE exam. The graduates are eligible for the CDSE exam.

CDSE stands for the – Combined Defence Service Examination

This Exam is conducted by the UPSC. This year conducted on February 17 , 2013.

Having completed B.tech in Computer Science you could opt for writing the CDS Exam which is a Defence service exam

This exam is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and the exam stands for Combined Defence Service

This exam offers you to join in Indian Army which is known as a Defnece force of India.There are criteria's which are needed to be satisfied for the exam in order for applying for the CDS Exam to join in Indian Army

The criteira's would include such as:

>> Martial Status

>> Age Limit

>> Education Qualification

>> Physical Standard


## The Nationality standard for the CDS exam states that the candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India
