I am Mounika of 3rd yr B TECH(EEE). I want to start my GATE prepration,so I would request you to suggest me the method and the standard books that I have to follow for my preparation.

If you start exam preparations now itself, you can clear GATE very easily. Questions for the exam will be asked from engineering mathematics and EEE subject areas. Prescribed books under B.Tech course can be used for exam preparation. Also you can refer books from publications like Upkars, S. Chand, etc. Practicing questions from previous year’s questions will be helpful for you.

This is the best time to to start your gate preparation.
First you have to learn all the concepts by reading standard books relating to your core branch.Then if you are poor in the subject,you have to take the gate coaching in like ACE academy,HYD.
After that you must practice the gate topics in particular order.

Well it is good to start preparation for gate at early phase.So for GATE preparation you can take admission in any GATE coaching institute as they taught only required contents and do try make your basic concepts clear as GATE is all about checking your basic concepts and book good for preparation is GK publications.
