Candidate aspiring to become a Lawyer needs to be a Law Graduate. The Bar Council of India regulates the LLB programs for Law aspirant candidates. There are two modes to pursue the LLB program. Candidate having passed the +2 level of Examination from a recognized Board are eligible to pursue the 5 years integrated LLB program, given one fulfills the other eligibility criteria and qualifies the Entrance Examination which is conducted on various levels. The maximum age limit to appear in the Entrance test is 20 years for the general candidates and 22 years for the reserved candidates.

Given, you already have attained the age of 35 years and recently concluded your +2 level, you are not eligible for the LLB program. Given, candidates who hold a bachelors degree are eligible for the 3 years LLB program only if one has not attained the age of 30 years if he/she is a general candidate and 35 years if he/she is a reserved candidate.

I am sorry but you can not become lawyer now. You have passed the age limit to apply for the law course. You can still apply for some correspondence course however that will not make you a lawyer.

The correspondence courses are not valid as per the Bar Council of India, therefore even after completing such course you will not become lawyer and neither you will be allowed to appear in the court as lawyer.

After completing 12th, you are eligible for BA LLB course. However the age limit for this course is 20 years. While you are 35 years old. Even if you complete the graduation and apply for LLB, the age would be a big hurdle.

Therefore the bottom line is that you simply can not apply for the LLB course thus can not become lawyer.

BA LLB Eligibility

1. Candidate should be 12th pass.

2. Minimum of 45 percent marks.

3. SC and ST need 40 percent marks.

4. The age limit is 20 years.

5. SC and ST should be less than 22 years to apply.

6. No relaxation is given to OBC.

LLB Eligibility

1. You should be graduate.

2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation.

3. There is 5% relaxation for SC and ST.

4. The age limit is 30 years for LLB.

5. SC and ST should be less than 35 years old to apply.
