Information about IAS preparation? I am 26 years old
I have done b.a in arts ,my subjects in graduation:
Hindi english economics office management i am 26 years old girl,wants to prepare for i.a.s exam. Or some civil service.............or some other 'a' grade officers job exam................so please guide me. |

Civil services officers are selected through IAS Exam organised by UPSC
This exam have Three stages Civil Service Aptitude Test / Preliminary Examination Mains Examination Interview General IAS Examination Schedule : Notification of Examination : Feb / Mar Conduct of Preliminary Examination : June - July Result of Preliminary Examination : Oct - Nov Conduct of Personality Test : March - April IAS Stands Indian Administrative Service IAS Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian Candidates must be complete Graduation in any stream from a recognized University Candidates age limit between 21 to 30 years The upper age relaxation as per govt rules |

IAS Preparation:You need focused study of subjects. You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination.
You need to have good knowledge of current affairs and our history and administration. It’s important to have some reading habits as that will help you to keep yourself updated about the current affairs. Read lots of magazines. Also you should be strong in aptitude and the subjects that you have chosen or will choose. Graduation in any discipline will make you eligible for Civil Services Examination. But please make sure that you Graduate from a recognised University.
You also must have the required age then only you will be eligible for Civil Services Examination. General Category - 21 to 30 years OBC Category - 21 to 33 years SC/ST Category - 21 to 35 years The selection as an IAS Officer will depend upon your performance in the Preliminary, Mains and Interview. hi,
IAS exam stands for Indian Administration Services which is conducted by UPSC. Exam Eligibility;- 1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university 2-There is no percentage requirement 3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible. Age limits;- General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students. Age relaxation;--- 3 years age relaxation for OBC category 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category 10 years for PH candidates Exam pattern;- Civil services Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies having 400 marks. 2 hours are given to each General studies papers. Civil services Mains exam pattern changed from this year. Now Any Indian Language papers consist 100 marks as qualifying marks. English language papers consist 100 marks. Essay papers marks is same as previous. Now general studies papers consist 500 marks. There will be last stage of Interview which consist 275 marks instead of 300 marks Preparation Tips;- 1. Take frequent short breaks. 2. Space out your studying so that your long-term memory retains it 3. Don’t try to memorize everything; make sure you understand the material well. 4. Listen to relaxing music to ease the boredom of studying. 5. Don’t study later than the time you usually go to sleep All the best..................... |

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year. Eligibility: Candidate should be origin of India. Candidate should be complete the Graduation from recognized university. No percentage required for this exam. Final year appearing candidates are eligible. The candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC Candidates. 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates. 10 years relaxation for PH candidates. No of Attempts: General- 4 times OBC- 7 times SC/ST- No limit Selection Process: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview All the best. |
