You can apply for government jobs by final year of engineering. Final year students have the option to attend competitive exams like GATE, CDS, and ESE. GATE qualified with marks between 60-70% can join to PSU like BPCL, BHEL, or BEL. Those who have qualified UPSC ESE can join to reputed jobs in engineering services department. You can join as Asst Commandant or Coast Guard in defense by qualifying CDS exam.
