what type of jobs one can get after completing b.com (general).

after completion for B.com course have following jobs :

Soon after the completion of B.Com course, its better to opt for MBA course rather than joining in Job.

Because, you can not get good job profiles after completion of B.Com course. In addition, the salaries will also be low except in Marketing Jobs.

Even in Marketing jobs also, you will be paid good salaries as long as you perform well and will be able to give good business to the company.

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration which is a 2 year Post Graduate Level Management course being offered by many of the colleges all over India.

The admission for this course will be given on the basis of performance in any of the Entrance Exams like
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT
-XAT etc,

In addition, there are some state level entrance exams for MBA course which will give admission for this course in and around various colleges of that particular state.

If you are economically so poor and the job is very much important for you, then only go for Job.

You can have good number of jobs in various public sector and private sector companies.

As per Government Jobs, you have to crack the written exams and then Interview to get Job.

Along with this, Accountants will be there in every finance departments to take care of Accounts of the company without any bias.

So, you have a good scope to join as Accountant.

But to get Accountant Job, you should be very much strong enough in Accounts and Tally. Try to be strong enough in this.

you are eligible to appear for various PO and Clerk exams. But in order to crack these exams, you should have strong preparation.

-Insurance sector
You can join as Agent and you may also opt for various job vacancies in various Insurance companies which will be released from time to time

-Corporates
You can join as Accountant in various corporate companies. But as an Accountant, you will be paid less and growth is slow in the career.
-civil services,
You are eligible to appear for civil services examination having completed your B.Com through which you can join
-IAS
-IPS
-IRS

However, my suggestion is don't look for job opportunities soon after the completion of your B.Com course rather it is better to go for higher studies like
-MBA
-ICWA
so that the job oppprtunities will be more and in addition the job designations will be too good with good salaries.

Hi,
There are two good options that you can go for after your B.Com.
Firstly you can choose for private schools. Lot of English Medium private schools are there today. If you look carefully through job portals you will see quite a lot of them giving advertisements for teacher recruitment. Apply in any of them that you prefer. If your qualification suits their norms they will call you for a personal interview. Also after you join the school, do complete the B.Ed. degree. This is very important degree for school teaching and is needed to get better pay scale.
You can also go for insurance company jobs. Initially you will join there in clerical post. They will provide you with necessary training for joining their company and handling clients. Later on with experience and good performance you can go for top level jobs.
