Hi Sir/Madam, I am interested to join Indian Air Force. I am studying 12th with Commerce stream. So, I want to know about the job opportunities available in Indian Air Force for me. Waiting for your response!

You are not eligible for recruitment in Indian Air Force with commerce stream as an officer.

NDA is conducted by UPSC and the eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as main paper.

But, you can appear in AFCAT examination after bachelor degree if you want to get recruitment as an officer in Indian Air Force.

There is an entrance examination called National Defence Academy.

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The eligibility criteria for NDA entrance exam for Indian Air Force:

1. Science stream with Mathematics and Physics are necessary for Indian Air Force through NDA entrance exam.

2. The age limit for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19.5 years.

3. Only unmarried male Indian citizen can apply.

12th commerce students can not apply for IAF through NDA examination.

As far as you are concerned about the job opportunities available for you in Indian Air force being a Class 12th passed candidate in commerce stream then I would like to let you know that you are eligible to join Indian Air force as an airman Y group.

Further, for Airmen Y group selection, you need to be an unmarried Indian male candidate with your age lying within 17 years to 21 years. You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.
