NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.This exam is conducted by UPSC.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department , then you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and arts student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

NDA exam not require any kind of Percentage marks in 12th standard.So those candidate have completed 12th board are applicable.

Those who are completed 12th examination or those who are pursing in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for NDA examination.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.Age relaxation is not provide any category.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

Selection process for NDA exam is Written Test , Medical Test and Personal Interview.

NDA paper consist of Physics, Chemistry , Math , English , GK so you can prepare well to your 12th standard books.

NDA I exam date is already over for this year so you have chance for NDA II exam.

NDA-II exam notification will release on 5th May 2012,closes on 4th June 2012.And exam will held on 19th August 2012.

NDA stands for National Defence Service.

NDA has three wings:

Indian army
Navy

No percentage required for this exam.

For appearing in NDA (National Defence Academy) you will require the following eligibility:-

There is no percentage criteria to join NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

INFORMATION ON NDA - NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY


National Defense Academy is one of the top most and reputed Entrance Examinations in our country. It is held twice in a year and is being done by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. April and August are the two months in which it is held..

This is an entry level entrance for joining the Army, Navy and Air Force for India. All the NDA aspirants who wish to join any of these have to satisfy the following Eligibility Criteria's :-

-> The candidate should be an unmarried male Indian citizen or subject to Nepal or Bhutan.

-> He should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or any other open educational institution. Also the 12th board exams appeared candidates can apply for that year..

-> The age should be within 16.5 to 19 years with both the ages included. No relaxations is provided in this.

-> Another thing to note is that ONLY the science students can apply for all the 3 wings of the Defense, but the Commerce and Arts students cannot. They can only apply for the Army wing of the Defense.

-> Physical and Mental fitness is also of utmost importance as per their standards. If you are able to clear the written part of the exam, then the next would be your physical examination.

All candidates who satisfy these are eligible to apply for the NDA. Coming to your query, I would say that till last year the NDA UPSC demanded no specific minimum percentage in neither Class 12th nor 10th. And this wasn't demanded ever in the history as well.

What is required is that you need to clear your class 12th successfully and there should not be any kind of a backlog of compartment. Also you should be able to clear the written exam of the NDA to get along the other levels of the process..

So, Please don't worry ,If your passed all subject in 12th standard than your eligible appear in NDA Examination .

Pattern of NDA Entrance Examination

The subjects of the written examination,

• Mathematics 01 300
• General Ability 02 600

The time allowed

• Mathematics----2 1/2 hours
• General Ability-- 2 1/2 hours

and the maximum marks allotted subject

• Total Marks - 900

The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.
The question papers of MATHEMATICS AND PART "b" OF GENERAL ABILITY TESTS will be set BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS English.

The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination. and depending upon different criteria like number student appear or any other criteria they fix qualifying marks........

but better to bring minimum 300 for NDA exam...

Educational Qualifications : (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(iii)Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :-

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995 are eligible” , that means the age should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

For this NDA(National Defence Academy) exam there is no necessary percentage required.So don't worry about that am giving some of information about the NDA exam details.
