I just want to confirm that can i take admission in M.A because i have got 47% in B.A. And i want to confim that what the minimum percentage for take admnission in M.A. IN ENGLISH.

Sorry friend you can not get addmission to any regonised college with 47% in BA english Because minimum percentage require for the eligibilty for MA english should be 50% in your graduation BA.
But you have to not lose hope because you can take addmission to open university their requirement is 40% in your graduation.

eligibility for M.A: Graduates from any discipline with 60% marks

For your admission in M.A. in english, you must hold a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university. The candidates who have taken english literature as the major subject should have at least 50% marks in optional english all the three years put together or should have at least 55% marks in General English in two years. The candidates who have completed graduation in any other subjects should at least 40% marks in aggregate for all other subjects. The eligible students can seek admission through college office. The admission will be based on both the interview conducted by the colleges and the marks scored in graduation course. The final selection is dependent on the performance in the qualifying examination, entrance exam, and interview. The application forms are available at the post graduate centres of the college or you can download from the official website of the concerned colleges. The application fee for the course is Rs. 400/-

Sorry to say you can not get the admission to any recognized college because the minimum percentage require for the eligibility for MA English should be 50%.

So, you are not eligible. But you can take admission to open university for the required 40% in your graduation.
