Is it necessary to do training as it is added up in the resume during placement?

Hi,
I would suggest that a training or internship regarding your final year project work at graduation level can be fruitful, as you would gain experience and companies nowadays go with experience. More knowledge you gain, more chances there are for good companies to catch you. Same goes with doing courses like programming languages,etc. Yes, it is very much necessary for you to do the training if you have mentioned it in your resume. If questions are put up during the interview and in some ways you are not able to answer or caught lying by any means, there are 100% chances that you won't get selected. Honesty matters. Hence i would prefer you go for it.
