No NTPC and Bhel exams are not conducted by UPSC. rather they have separate exam for both..

NTPC notification come in their own websites and that is http://http://www.ntpccareers.net/ and for BHEL in http://www.bhel.com

ntpc notification following are the branch wise vacancies:--
1. Mechanical (162)
2. Electrical (110)
3. Control & Instrumentation (58)
4. Civil (48)
5. Finance (40)
6. Human Resource (20)

and for BHEL also branch wise vacancies:--

1. Mechanical, Engineer trainee – 400, Supervisor trainee – 550
2. Electrical, Engineer trainee – 125, Supervisor trainee – 150
3. Electronics, Engineer trainee – 75, Supervisor trainee – 75
4. CIVIL Supervisor Trainee 25

Total, Engineer trainee – 600, Supervisor trainee – 800

This year notification didnot come and expected to come by month of august...
and for NTPC notification has been gone...

no NTPC and BHEL are PSUs , they are govt. undertakings and not pure central govt jobs....while UPSC conducts exam for central govt. departments only.
NTPC and BHEL have different exams.

sorry to say but both exam are different and both ntpc and bhel are not conducted by upsc these both exam are given after completition of b.tech.

All the PSUs have their exam of their own..they accept GATE score or they have the exam of their own...UPSC is a different body and takes exams for IAS and IFS..CDS....

those organization conduct their own exam.

percentage require TO APPEAR IN BHEL & NTPC.
