Sir, may i have the number of seats allotted under obc quota in AIEEE IITJEE under 27 percent including the new colleges in to account

dear friend, as you want to know about the seat for OBC in IIT-JEE & AIEEE.
so i kindly inform you that in AIEEE many colleges include in every year sso there are no any exact information about seat in colleges under AIEEE, as you know that 27% reservation for OBC students, so for number of seat in AIEEE you will know after visit the official website of AIEEE. www.aieee.nic.in
& in IIT-JEE there are approx 2500 seat for OBC students.

we know that IIT's have 27% seats reserved for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates.

And now we have have total 17 IIT's with total intake of 8,295 (in 2009) out of which there were 872 or 880 were selected as OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates.

Here one Question arises !

If total 8,295 seats where available in 17 IIT's in 2009 then why only 872 or 880 where selected for OBC even when 27% of 8295 is equal to 2240(approx). So why only 872 or 880 has been selected for the same???

Let me make things more clear.....

IITB: toatal 746 seats available, so 27% means near about 201 (approx) for OBC quota.
IITk: total 702 seats available, so 27% means near about 189 (approx) for OBC quota.
IITM: total 713 seats available, so 27% means near about 192 (approx) for OBC quota.
IITD: total 721 seats available, so 27% means near about 202 (approx) for OBC quota.
IITKgh: tatal 1138 seats available, so 27% means near about 307 (approx) for OBC quota.
IITR: total 1013 seats available ,so 27% means near about 273 (approx) for OBC quota.
IITG:total 498 seats available so 27% means near about 134 (approx) for OBC quota.
IT-BHU: total 881 seats available,so 27% means near about 237 (approx) for OBC quota.
ISM,Dhanbad: total 923 seats available,so 27% means near about 250 (approx) OBC qouta.
IIT,bhubaneshwar: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT,gandhinagar: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT, patna: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT,hydrabad: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT,roper: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT,rajisthan: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT,indore: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.
IIT,mandi: total 120 seats availble so 27% means near about 34 (approx) for OBC qouta.

Total 72,000 candidates appeared for IITJEE as OBC candidates out of which 1,130 candidates crack JEE and where shortlisted for councelling for OBC quota in 2009 out of which 1,024 came for councelling and near about 872 or 880 where selected for OBC quota.

Students disqualifies because they are not able to produce OBC (Non-creamy layer) certifcate in proper format.

AIEEE

There are hundreds of institutes under AIEEE so it is impossible to provide DATA. Only thing is that there 27% seats reserved in all NIT's, IIIT's and other Institutes of National Importance.

Note: all statistics discussed above are analysis of IITJEE-2009. Hope you will be satisfied with the answer.

In every govt. colleges there is 27% reservation for obc seats.
You can take intake in iit and aieee also.
But private colleges don’t take like this.

my rank is 38920 in aiee ,will i get seat in any college

igot 54110 AIR rank in aieee under OBC quota and 7810 state rank can i get seat in any of the NIT colleges

Your Rank is good enough for getting into any Good private institute like- KIIT University, ICFAI University, WBUT, Jaipuria Engineering College and many more.........

IN IIT MY OBC RANK 1200 AND IN AIEEE MY OBC RANK 5600 CAN U SUGGEST ME FOR BEST COLLEGE/INSTITUTES I HAVE TAKEN ADMISSION. IMEDENTLY.

As you say your rank is very good and you can find a good college too as my friend faiyaz told that each institute has 27% of all seats are reserved for obc quota . My best wishes for you choose a good college and study hard

my name is yadunandana 4m karnataka....so i got all india rank as 33004 in BEand in ART as 2038
then in state rank as 495 inBE and in ART as 44 ......so can i get my prefered college.....???

Yes NIT are possible at this rank since this year more NITs are up so you can get an NIT otherwise i would recommend you to apply for other good government and private institutes who consider AIEEE score

how many marks need to get addmission in thaper university and in nits

its 654 seats across the 13 iits and 33 seats in the new 6 iits
and theres no particular reservation in aieee..it depends on the marks the candidate has scored..

27% of the total number of seats are reserved for OBC quota.

Admission to hohe jayega !

But your score is not good to fetch a seat in some reputed private institutes.

So, you can expect only some colleges like- Budge-Budge institute of Technology, jaipuria Engineering college, ICFAI Institute of Technology, Omsai, Oxford, etc.......

If your rank is 123526 then I think your score in AIEEE is will be above 55 marks and in that case you are eligible to appear for Councelling. However dont worry about getting seat, you will get a good private institute in any region of India. I dont think you can expect some good college of your state thats because your state score is not good enough to get you in top colleges of the state.

If your rank is crossing 4.5 lacs even being a OBC candidate then I think your score is withing 33 marks and if so then you are nt eligible for Councelling. And in that case only one way left that is Management Quota.

dear , the quota for OBC's in AIEEE or IITJEE is not 27% in real, it is just on papers.Actually you get some 22% quota in them. for AIEEE some 3689 seats are there and in IIT some 2700 seats are available this year more accurately you will come to know during your counselling.

After the hrd ministry announcement to give 27% reservation to obc.
The engg. Colleges including this are iit,nits and govt. institutions running under central govt.
List the colleges where you can apply and seek the admission there.

we know that IIT's have 27% seats reserved for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates. donot worry in iit and aieee various quota in obc category only, and donot worry your seat is reserved.

The seats are according to the choice in colleges.
Iit and nit have 27% reservation.

Yeah you can expect Any private college located in Tamil Nadu only if you are going through your OBC rank, because your general rank is not enough to fetch a seat in any college of Tamil Nadu.

However, if you want to switch to your general rank then Colleges in Karnataka specially Bangluru will be better and possible. But since you are OBC candidate then better go through it and you will get some good private colleges of tamil nadu.

Online Councelling for AIEEE rank holders is going on just log on to http://www.ccb.nic.in/

And register for it, las date for filling registration is 23th june.

Yes why not.......!

But if you are going through your OBC Rank, then you can expect some Good Institute located in Delhi Ncr.

Even if CCB (exceptionallly) is providing you seats through your AIR then also I you can expect some private college in Delhi Ncr.

Dont worry for it.

I think that you may get any college on the basis of OBC quota.
BUt you have to submitte all document very clearly either you wil disqualify.
Just wait and watch and hope for best result.
In every college there are 27% for OBC quota.
So, you may get college.

Yes definately, you can crack IIT papers without coaching.

The IIT papers consist of variety of questions including objective types, multiple choice, numerical, passage based and single choice questions.

So, if you want to clear and crack IIT papers, then please solved more
mock test papers. If you practice and solve more papers, then you will
be able to crack IIT exams.

So, my friend coaching is not mandatory, So if you have confidence on
yourself, you will always gain sucess.

So, please work hard, to crack IIT exams and practice more papers, then
you will able to crack IIT.....

yes dear ofcourse you may get in several IIIT's but sorry for the NIT's you cant get those, you may also go for state councelling.

you can easily get one of the good iits along with a decent branch
a friend of mine got 5 year dual degree in metallurgy in mumbai at 1700 or so obc (non creamy layer) rank
