Hi,
It is quite appreciable to see that you want to serve the nation by becoming an IPS officer.
There is not any specific percentage criteria for the B.Com graduates to appear for the IPS examination.
To appear for the examination you need to be a graduate from a recognized university and your age should be between 21-30 years.Age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years us given to the SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively. The exam is conducted by the UPSC which is known as civil service examination. The notification regarding the examination is published in the employment news and all the leading dailies.

Best Wishes....

Educational Qualification:-
You Must hold a degree of any Discipline from any Recognized University.

Age Limits:-
Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.(This is For IAS 2011 & For Next year Exam it will be different )

So, for IPS there is no percentage requirement only graduation degree will work.

Few More details:-

IPS is Indian Police Service which is an Entry through Civil Service Exam mode.

If you clear the Civil Service Exam then you will be called for Next Level which is Interview, if you clear it again. Then you will be An IPS Officer.

In order to become ips officer you have to crack CSAT Exam.

IPS academic eligibility :Graduate degree in any discipline of any of the Universities those are recognized by UGC or may be a deemedd university.
so you just need to be a graduate , you don't need to think about marks.
even if are you in final year and waiting for results you can still appear for the IPS.
