You need at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths to become eligible for engineering entrance exams of the country. If you have this much marks then be prepared for the entrance exam like JEE Main.
Your performance in JEE and marks in class XII will help you to get admission in a top aeronautical engineering college of the country. Therefore, you should start your preparation by keeping in mind the you have to secure a top rank. |

Percentage required in 12th to join Aeronautical Engineering:- You should have passed 12th standard with minimum 50% marks for normal Private Colleges but If you should get admission in very good colleges then the percentage required minimum 55-60% .
After passing 12th in subjects of Physics,Maths & Chemistry you should appear exam of JEE Main & JEE Advanced.If you get good scores in this entrance exam then you can get admission in good Engineering Colleges . |

Eligibility to join Aeronautical Engineering after 12th:
A candidate must have done 12th from recognized board with at least 50% marks in Physics, chemistry, maths and English. Age 17-25 years and relaxation in upper age limit is given to students of reserved categories. |

You have to go for the entrance exam like Jee advanced, Jee Mains, VITEE etc. Via this exam you can get the admission in good and reputed engineering colleges.
The basic eligibility criteria for this exam/course is to have a successfully passed class 12th degree in any discipline from a recognised board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of PCM subject. The students who wish to appear in this course must have their educational subject as physics, chemistry and mathematics as a primary subject in class 12th for the B.E. course. |
