Hello friend,
To write Engineering Service, you just need to hold a degree in engineering.
There is no percentage criteria in the exam. So, no matter how much you've scored, if you have qualified the final year exam of your engineering degree program, you are eligible for the exam.
The minimum eligible age is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.
The maximum age limit is relaxed upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

The examination is conducted for only four disciplines of engineering and they are:
Civil engineering
Mechanical engineering
Electrical engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication engineering.

So, no matter which stream of engineering you belong to, you will have to apply for any one of the above mentioned disciplines of engineering.
