Eligibility to appear and percentage required in B.Tech to apply for IES exam?
Hello
I am a civil engineering btech graduate , I want to write IES exam, can I write this exam, and I need to know percentage to apply please reply for my query. |

No percentage criteria is required to appear for IES examination. Following is the eligibility criteria required to appear for IES examination is mentioned below :-
1. You must have completed B.Tech /B.E from a recognised university. 2. You must be a citizen of India. 3. You must be in between 21 - 20 years old. Age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as mentioned below :- --> OBC :- 3 Years --> SC/ST :- 5 Years Selection Procedure :- 1. Preliminary Examination 2. Main Examination 3. Personal Interview No of Attempts :- --> General :- 4 --> OBC :- 7 --> SC/ST :- No Limit |

IES exam stands for Indian Engineering Service which is conducted by UPSC. IES exam is conducted every year by UPSC. IES exam Eligibility Criteria:- >>>You must have passed a Engineering degree from a recognized University in any stream. >>>There is no Percentage Requirement for this exam. >>>Age limit is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category students. IES exam consists two parts;- Preliminary exam Mains exam |

B.Tech Graduates of following streams can apply for UPSC Engineering Services Exam.
1. Civil Engineering 2. Mechanical Engineering 3. Electrical Engineering 4. Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering There is no percentage criteria and you should only have a B.Tech degree from an AICTE approved colleges to become eligible for it. The age should be between 21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination. There is age relaxation available for reserved category candidates.
