Re: Are the placements of Manipal Universities good for Chemical Engineering?
Yes offcourse. MANIPAL is a good university and campus placement is also good here. but in case of chemical engineering, it fails to provide remarkable placement but is ok. don't worry just focus on your studies and get good marks, you will reach to your goal sooner or later.

Re: Are the placements of Manipal Universities good for Chemical Engineering?
hi!
Yes, Manipal university is a good university. The university has international academic collaborations for twinning programs in engineering, medicine, biomedical, communication with universities in the US, Australia, Germany, Nepal and other academic organizations. If you are doing Chemical Engineering - Twinning Program from Manipal universitiy's International Centre for Applied Sciences (ICAS) then you can expect an average salary package of around US $ 50,000.00 per annum. |

Re: Are the placements of Manipal Universities good for Chemical Engineering?
As we know manipal university is one of the best university in India.Every year sufficient company visited for campus interview. according to last two year placement record of chemical engg. In 2008 total 88 percent and in 2009 96 percent student are placed. The average package is 3.5 lakh/annum and maximum package is 5.2 lakh (for chemical engg.).So i think its good because almost all student are placed every year.

Re: Are the placements of Manipal Universities good for Chemical Engineering?
What is the linkage between Manipal University, Karnataka and Sikkim Manipal University? While SMU uses the same logo, brings out loud advertisements and gets into recognition issues with HRD authorities, MU, Karnataka remains silent over the shenanigans of SMU. It never shows any affiliation / connection with SMU. I have attended counseling and orientation at MU, Manipal, and there was no mention of SMU, at all. Neither does the MU website mention SMU. So whats the deal? Can some one please give authentic information?

Re: Are the placements of Manipal Universities good for Chemical Engineering?
Core placements for Chemical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology have been very poor over the last few years. However since last year companies like Reliance Industries Limited have started visiting the campus and have took about 2 to 3 students for chemical. The rest of them get into MRC's like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc. All the Best! Manipal Institute of Technology has good placements only for Electrical, Mechanical and CSE.
