hello everyone
i have done my matriculation from H.P board of school education.and due to certain circumstances i have live in chandigarh.now i am 25 years old and seeking job in govt sector
but there is an essential requirement that candidate should have passed punjabi upto matriculation for many of the govt. jobs.my question is that can i qualify for punjabi 10th exam even then i have done matric form any other board .is it possible?send me responses asap.

Matriculation is the 10th class which is considered as the major junction between the primary and secondary schooling.

It is said that 10th is the iron gate, on opening which you have a vast world open for you. You can choose from Science, Commerce and Arts.


Now coming to your query, I am really sorry to say that If anybody has appeared in class 10th once from ANY board in India which is recognized, then he/she won't be allowed to sit for it again (Until they fail the first attempt)


So you you have to first check that the board from which you have done your matriculation is recognized or not. If not, then you can re appear for the matriculation exam from NATIONAL OPEN SCHOOL.


If it is recognized then you will not be allowed to take a re attempt. Yeah still you may try to take class 10th from open school if possible.

I have passed my 12th from CBSE board and chose sanskrit instead of hindi as one of my subject in 10th.
Now i have to apply for a govt job in which hindi is needed.
can anybody tell me if i can give exam of hindi as we give punjabi exam for govt purpose.

you can fill the form which is released in the moth of march or oct in oct the the fees is 35oo included fine & in march it is 2500 after fill the form u attach th smanta atar which is issued by the mohali pseb bard &10 certificate of himachal board and send to the mohali board pseb with challan of rs 2500,3500

in Punjab education board is Punjabi language is compulsory to passout for every student or not.
